The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. The rain shower head didn’t quite meet my preferences, though the ample counter space made up for it. The hotel’s location is ideal—just a short stroll or an Uber ride away from iconic landmarks like the White House and various museums. When it comes to business amenities, their Wi-Fi was reliable, and the on-site business center was convenient for any last-minute work needs. The restaurant, Du Jour, provided a nice atmosphere to unwind after a day of meetings, and my husband and I took advantage of our $72 restaurant credit during our stay. Having silent air conditioning was a huge plus, especially in the 105-degree heat. The staff were friendly and helpful, which adds a positive touch when navigating meetings and schedules. The Royal Sonesta proves to be a practical option for those on a business trip.
